El Salvador: arrived in el salvador - now looking for a car:

just arrived in Santa Tecla and looking for a good car - any recommendations and how low can you go for a good reliable 4x4? not looking for fancy schmancy but something reliable. checked out paseo el carmen last night and was good scene so pretty impressed with where we are living at the moment :-)

El Salvador: moving from Uk to San Tecla, El Salvador:

HI - we're moving out to El Salvador from the UK and trying to get hold of a good decent shipper. We don't have much (no bulky furniture) but what with the excess baggage embargos on airlines we're a bit stuck. Anyone know of any good ones? Also we heard that stuff would have to arrive within 1 month of our arrival or else there would be more fees/tax to pay - is this true or do they get you to pay anyway?
