Ecuador Welcome Forum: Bio Identical Hormones:
Hello, I am about to move to Cuenca. The only hesitation I have is that there is no bioidentical hormone source in Ecuador that I have found. I even asked a naturopath doctor in Cuenca and she'd never heard of a source. I would be happy to help you get to Ecuador and could put you in contact with some people who are knowledgeable about how you would be able to do business here. My email is globalmrkt@aol.com.
Chile: Moving to Uruguay or Chile:
Hello,
My daughter and I want to relocate with our 4 rescued animals: 2 rabbits and 2 chickens. We are thinking that Uruguay may be our best option. We are looking to settle in a safe country with good universities south of the equator. We are currently checking into any quarantine requirements for our animals since we are not willing to put them into quarantine. (We spent 100's of hours researching Chile and developing contacts only to be told last week that there is a 30-day quarantine!) Uruguay was the other country we thought was a good option for us, and hopefully we will find that there is no quarantine. I'm still afraid that upon arrival our animals will be confiscated or some unforeseen problem will pop up. The othjer thing is that I teach biology at high school level in the U.S. but since my Spanish is not strong enough to teach biology in Spanish, I think I'd do well to opt for teaching English as a foreign language. Any suggestions from anyone on any part of my post?
Chile: Place to live with our animals:
My 16-year-old daughter, our 2 chickens, and 2 rabbits are moving to Chile in May, 2014 and would like to know if you can find us a house to rent. I will probably be studying for a month in Providencia area of Santiago, and perhaps we will stay there after that or perhaps move to Vina del Mar or Concepcion where I can work and my daughter can attend university. We do not need any house that is fancy, but we do need one with at least a small yard with a wall or a patio where the animals can exercise and be safe. It does not matter if it is very small since we will not bring much with us.
Thank you,
Carol
