What do housekeepers charge in Portugal? Is it easy to find someone. I am talking about maybe once a week or so? Thank you.

Spain: Shipping from Barcelona to Lisbon:

Does anyone know of a good shipping company that ships from Barcelona to Lisbon? We are arriving from the US in Barcelona and then settling in Lisbon. We need someone to transport about 6 or 8 pieces of luggage. Thank you in advance.

We will be in Lisbon mid April and will be looking for a one or two bedroom apartment in greater Lisbon to rent or 6 to 12 months. We cannot afford to pay a lot. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. We have already secured an apartment in city center for 1 month. Thanking you in advance. Mexico: Cancun/Merida/ or Playa del Carmen:

My husband and I are considering retiring in Mexico. Does anyone have a suggestion or preference of any of these cities? If you do can you say why. We are applying for our residency visa. Does anyone know of a web site where we apartments are more economical? Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Portugal: Moving to Spain or Portugal:

There is not much activity on this site. My husband and I are retiring to either Spain or Portugal the first of the year. Wondering if there are any U.S. Citizens. I want to learn the language, but having someone who speaks English will be nice once in a while too.

Mexico: ACA/Obamacare for Americans in Mexico:

This post is absolutely correct. My husband lost his company sponsored health insurance for both of us last year and I received no penalty, only because it was company sponsored. If it had been an individual policy I would have had to pay a penalty.

James are you saying you can get a work permit by having a Pensionado Visa? I think our attorney told us if we wanted work permits we would need the Friendly Nations Visaa
