Uruguay: Business in Uruguay - Salto:
I would want to start a small business like hotel or restaurant in Salto. I am an Indian, I speak Spanish perfectly well and I have noted from my last trip to Uruguay that there's no Indian restaurant. But I found Montevideo and PDE are too expensive to start off some business. I was thinking about Salto, but I do not if it has tourism potentials in Salto and is it less expensive? Any advise. Regards, Somnath.
Colombia: Medellin apartments:
Hi, I am planning to move to Medellin with my family, looking for a 3 bedroom apartment in a safe area. El Poblado is not my choice. We all speak Spanish perfectly well, therefore, we do not mind living like locals. Can you please suggest me some names of the some neighborhoods which are safe and have good public transportation. Thanks.

Bolivia: Buying a car in Bolivia - help??:
Hi Lauren, glad to know you are in La Paz. I have been here for many years, originally from India. Regarding cars, nowadays prices are quite high, however, you should try with some agencies like Imcruz, they often sell used cars, also you can check the classified sections of El Diario and La Razon. There are places like in El Alto, Plaza Villaroyal, near San Antonio market - people go with their car to sale off on every sunday. Sometimes you get good deals. Once we did buy from San Antonio area ad it was a good deal. However, you must check if papers are in order, taxes are paid. Many will come to you saying that they have "power of attorney" to sell the cars, legally that is fine, but the only issue is until the car gets under your name it will be very difficult to sale. How long do you plan to live in La Paz? Thanks. Somnath.
