We plan to drive into Mexico from Florida with our dog. We would stay for 3-4 months. I know we have to purchase Mexican auto insurance and we also keep our US auto insurance. I've also read that we need to show papers showing o our dog is up to date with his shots. Which border crossing is best? What else should we know? Costs? Don't drive at night. Gas stations. We are headed to SMA. Advice gratefully accepted.
