Italy: residency:

I have dual citizenship. Born in America and aquired my Italian citizenship 7 years ago. I inherited my fathers home in Italy and live there 5 months and the remainder in the US. I am interested in aquiring residency in Italy. Are there any disadvantages to my status as a US. citizen (tax wise, etc.)

Italy: Southern Italy:

Meta di sorrento would be my recommendation. It is on the sorrentine peninsula 2 miles from sorrento and 7 miles from Positano. Walking distance to beaches, stores, restaurants, public transportation(trains and buses). i live there 4 months during the summer.

Italy: Expats in Campania:

I live in Punta Gorda Florida not too far from Naples, Fl. I live in Meta di Sorrento a small town walking distance to Sorrento for 4 months during the summer (June-Oct). I have been coming here all my life as my father was born here. I absolutely love the area as there are so many things to see and do and piazza's galore. We don't have transportation but can easily get around this area walking and with public transportation.If you come to this area, please get in touch.
