Oman: Housing in Sur?:

Hi. Where do most English teachers who work at the Sur College of Applied Sciences live in Sur? I expect to arrive there within a few weeks and am wondering what to expect in addition to a sun tan. The recruiter mentioned that many hotels have swimming pools, which I consider necessary for good health. I read on the Internet that the Sur Beach Hotel has a pool and private beach. Is this a good place to live? Thanks.
