Philippines: SRRV:
Just wondering if I have this right and if anyone can help me understand the requirements. I am 66 years old and have been married to a Filipina for 22 years now. We own a house on Panglao island which is half paid off. There is around $60,000 in equity on it now or around 3 million Pesos. If I understand the requirements right for a SRRV visa, I can use this equity instead of putting $10 to $20 thousand dollars in a bank there? Any knowledgable help concerning this topic is greatly appreciated.

Philippines: Which Passport 2 use?:
Does one have to ask for the Balikbayan stamp on the passport entering the Philippines or is it just automatically done at the airport? Am I right that then that I don't have to worry about staying there for a whole year without checking in with any immigration office?
