you ask many questions... please , consider to come for long vacation and visit many places in thailand , because you can find all: very busy attractive for tourists cities(hua hin, Pattaya, samui, Phuket) all expensive (not Pattaya, but this city is only for sex tourism, sea very dirty).. you like very contry sides: isaan or north, but a little alone in cities and no sea until 600km mini cheap, beautiful with variate coast, capital for sea food and pineapple, close to burma's boarder(15km) on the sea with security on the beaches with army place, restauants very good (max 8_10 usd) , little community european and american people, very typical, land and rent cheaper than all the coast, no risk for tsunami(gulf of thailand) ...this is what i have chosen :PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN you can rent or buy land or house...we are at 700m from 1 of the beaches..in coconut garden you can stay with retired visa 6month renew 1 time, and than every year if you are more than 50 years old connection to me : thail.fra @gmail.com sincerly

we cannot know what will happen in 2 months...for now, the political situation is very complex: a temporary governement dont want to leave, and opposition close to democratic that want new options for élections...because of big corruption. But in all theese places for tourism, you'll not see anything. you have to reed Bangkok post to see evolution.

hello, i'm fabien from France and had about the sameway some years ago...so i visited in 1 year all thailand, close to the sea that i like. i think Phuket and all places in andaman sea are dangerous(tsunami will come soon or late)...The places that u look are real tourist places:cha am and hua hin only the coast and 1 long beach for hollidays..at night many times Noisy...but the most expensive for food, rent and workers to employ. Pattaya is sex tourism, nothing more, the sea is very dirty rent is not very expensive far from the sea but good restaurants little expensive. I chose gulf of thailand(secure) not in South(samui= many foreigners for holllidays)because of many rain. finally i've chosen prachuap: the only place cheap on the sea, 15km to burma(open in 2015), big fisher port and 30km shrimps farms, so restaurants for seafood very cheap. Rent or buy is half of hua hin, not a lot of foreigners(us, sweden, french, little). weather is the best in thailand: not very hotor rainy and little Wind for t°.beaches : long , little, or protected with chair(10-20bth). here u find real people thai, not modified by tourism. good lands to buy not far from the sea...but prices go up.i leave there 5 month a year with my thai girlfriend(and part time in bkk) my mail thail.fra@gmail.com sincerly

Any foreigner can buy a condo in Thailand, every body agree that. But if you want to live your retirement in a house with garden, it's also possible. If you are not married with thai people, you must rent the land for 30 years , renewed every 30 years, and built your own house that you are owner. The owner of the land cannot stop the contract. But your children, if they are not thai, cannot get it. i have some land , 600m of the sea, 15 km to birma border that will open next year, in Prachuap, 300km South, between Bangkok and Samui or Phuket ..for people who like quiet places, in coconut garden, very cheap price .

let me talk with principal in my city; there i s a big school with 1000 children, they learn in thai and English maybe, bachelor is not enough ... i go to bankok for Christmas and ask around newyear u can call me again
