Japan: Looking for Employment in Japan:
Hi
My husband, me, and my daughter want to relocate to Japan. I am a little nervous to hop on a plane and hit the ground running. Is it possible to go to Japan and get a job?
I have applied online to 20 schools and only two have responded to turn me down.
I have previous experience teaching in China and as a teacher in India.
I am an American citizen with an AAS degree. My husband is a Tibetan with a refugee's passport from India.
I need a place for all of us and a job...if you have any ideas or contacts, please drop me a note. Thank you!!!
Thank you....

India: Expat group in Darjeeling?:
Hi all,
I am considering moving to Darjeeling to attend a language school there.
Anyone a long time resident? Have kids? My girl is 6 and a lot of fun, besides being very gentle.
I also need to know the cost of living for a place with hot water and two bedrooms.
Thank you
Yeshi
Japan: Relocate for a year or two.:
You can teach without a Bachelor's degree. You can get visa sponsorship without a Bachelor's.
Google it!
India: Job in Dehli:
Hi,
School starts at age 3 in India, at least that is what I have read. Rents vary from as low as $30 a month all the way up to $1200+. Depends on where you choose to live.
Also there is a good montessori school in Delhi that I thought was impressive. http://www.mmiindia.com/ this is their website. They have a school in Delhi.
Good luck.
India: A new organization...I am checking it out:
My friend in Delhi sent me the info on this new organization that hooks expats up with corporations.
It's called Strategic Links. Has anyone heard of them?
It costs $100 to join. I am going to check it out and update this post.
I am also working with a recruiter. Lets see who brings in an interview first :)
India: Preschools and discipline, what is standard practice?:
Howdy gang,
I need to find a top notch preschool for my little gal in Gurgoa, Noika or old Delhi.
I am concerned because I am ignorant; will my daughter get beaten, demeaned, slapped or caned in school by her teachers?
We all know that in American school, the teacher would be sacked for this sort of behavior! What about teachers in India?? What about the teachers in the private schools? I need to hear from you all about your kids' experiences!
I also need some suggestions for schools in these areas...Thanks so much, your advice can help put my worried mind at ease! LOL
Thanks so much!
Tracy

China: Driving across China to India...and child carseats:
Hello,
I want to buy a car in China, drive across China and into India. Anyone have any experience doing this? How much is a litre of petrol in China these days?
How much is a car in China?
Do they have seatbelts(sometimes cars in India don't) and if I fly to Beijing, is it worth it to bring my child's car seat. It's just me and her going to see family there.
Thanks
