Philippines: Danish bikinibrand searching for "models":

Be very careful about the recruitment laws here, to advertise any job you have to have avl liscense. You could be prosecuted for illegal recruitment, whether you are paying them or not. They take illegal recruitment very seriously here so be very careful get a lisence, all you need is one angry model to be to report you and you are in jail.

Philippines: High Quality Body and Paint Shop in Cebu Province:

I have never seen a spray shop here with a booth and an oven a main agent is the only place that would have that sort of equipment I think. Most shops here just sheds very basic facilities mainly good luck.

Philippines: Baguio,Tagaytay or another cooler place to live?:

Bagiou is very cool no need for air on rains a lot gets very busy with traffic jams. Nice place to visit very nice. Good shops good restaurants in town, some nice places to visit. For to live there, no I don't think so its too far from anywhere else and its on top of a mountain, the road is under constant repair and landslides in the rainy season. I like to visit tho stayed in some nice hotels there nice place albeit a bit busy. Tagaytay is also cool being developed now lots of new condo's going up. Good restaurants live music boat trips over to the Taal volcano island. Can ride a pony up the side of the volcano poor things not exactly well looked after. Properties are fairly expensive in town but outside is not too bad at all. Near to Manila if you need to go there, and of course you can drive anywhere on the mainland. Tagaytay does get very busy at weekends with long traffic queues. There is a picnic ground which has terrific views of the lake nice to base yourself there for a day again weekends gets very busy. The picnic grounds in my view are spoilt by the amount of litter people throw down even though there are large concrete garbage cans they just throw everything down the side of the steep hillside which now looks like a rubbish dump shame really because it could be very nice. There is sky ranch which has a large ferris wheel that give great views, a zip line that's good and some rides to go on. OK for a few visits but not enough to keep going back I don't think. Many foreigners like tagaytay for its climate. So out of the two I would choose Tagaytay but only because bagiou is on top of that mountain.

I might have the oppertunity to live in Canada Victoria there is already a house and a shop for my partner, I am from UK retired, would it be difficult for me to live in Canada permanently? I don't need to become a full citizen just want to settle there for good any ideas?

Philippines: How to keep the aircon "ON" during brown outs:

A generator is the only answer. I have seen rechargeable fans that work for a while whithiut mains power. A fan powered by batteries and an inverter might work but would not last very long. Generator is it.
