Australia: melbourne suburbs:

we are planning to move to melbourne from the uk mid part of 2004, and are abit lost on what area to look at property in, we would like somewhere with good schools and facilities for our three young children, but without having to use a car to get anywhere, can anyone help?????

We are currently looking into moving to melbourne from the uk, wondered if there was anybody out there with info on life downunder,especially melbourne, i have travelled in australia , but now relocating with wife and 3 young children will be quite different!!!
