Panama: Ecuador - A Reverse Exodus:

Hello PanamaJames! I have my eyes set on Ecuador as an excellent (IL calls it the best place for retirement for a few years in a row now!) place to spend my golden years and your note got me worried, to say the least. Could you please elaborate a bit on this? Would you, dear forum members, consider Panama as a viable alternative to Ecuador for somebody with limited means (I am thinking of Solvencia Económica Propia Visa)?
