Jamaica: A little lost:

Planning on moving from houston to Jamaica mid 2014 I already have housing just in search of transportation and and work. I'm unfamiliar with jamaica's CXC system and how it compares to americas diploma credit hr system and what exactly I'm qualified for because all of the jobs I'm finding on line outside of a few at the embassy you have to be a jamaican citizen to be eligible for. Does any one hVe any leads or info that would be helpful for some one like me ?
