I desperately need work (I have a Masters degree in Fine art and have a basic conversational Norwegian. I have been teaching Art at High school for 12 years in London (1 year in Sweden). Can anyone give me advice? Also - Tips on Bergenstest? Places to learn Norwegian Thanks

Hi there I'm an English native bilingual in English and French, and conversational in Norwegian and Swedish. I hold a masters degree in Fine Art and have been working as a High school teacher for the past 10 years in London. What kind of work can I get in Norway? I am interested in taking the Norwegian language proficiency test, what is this called and can I do it in the UK before I go? I plan to live and work in the Oslo area or Gjøvik where my Norwegian partner works. I don't have to teach, but need to earn a salary to live comfortably on with little children. Also Would studying for a PHD be useful? and would it be free? ALL advice/warning/job offers welcome Thanks a bunch! Lulu, 36 London
