Hi the best advise is not to drive the duty you will have to pay on you're vehicle will be more than it's worth. You should look around then you can always bring what you need to install in a car to be able to drive and buy a car here, I have a amputee vet that stayed here for 3 months brought down what he needed to drive here and bought a car here and had his equipment installed. Here's the story, the bus driver started in Chiriqui Grande; picked a bus full of Indians from Bocas to take them to Chame he fell asleep; with that distance he had to be driving for over 9 hours that's the greed of the owners of the bus; but everything by the other people was correct, so far 17 dead.
