It IS safe, if the person takes the right precautions: Minimizing things that WEAKEN immune system and help "express" genes that cause cancer (chemicals, alcohol, pesticides, etc.) AND eating all the foods possible that repair DNA, protect thyroid and prevent cancer. So here are some examples: 1. Sugar weakens the immune system so avoid or minimize consumption of junk food, cakes, cookies, white flour, white bread, soda, etc. Sorry, but IF you want to work there, that's the price you should pay. 2. Broccoli, kale, spinach, asparagus, other green vegetables: INHIBIT expression of cancer; in other words. They help prevent it. Another example is vitamin D3: 10,000 I.U per day AND 10,000 I.U. per day of vitamin A. Also, 1,000 milligrams vitamin C, minimum of 3 to 4 times per day. 3. Take potassium iodine, AND plenty of salt. Salt kicks out bromides and builds the adrenals and iodine protects the thyroid. Do NOT just take iodine without also taking magnesium, selenium, salt, water (6-8 glasses per day) and vitamin C. 4. Fast once per week, if possible (skip all supplements too). Fasting strengthens the body against radiation in a HUGE way. Fast--if possible, 34 hours per week, say, 9 pm Wed to 7 am Friday. Great habit to do! Otherwise, fast 3 1/2 days once every two months. Drink water of course. Many herbs block radiation, so try chorella, rosemary and apple pectin. Speak to a naturopathic doctor there for more on this topic. Good luck.
