Very low humidity here in Cuenca. Mid 70's in the shade virtually year round. Very comfortable without a/c....use space heaters or nicer places will have fireplaces. Come check it out.

Ecuador: taking money out of Ecuador:

Can someone please clarify the current law. I understand that you will be taxed on any amount over $1098. How often can you do this under the limit and not be taxed. Can I withdraw $1000 at a foreign ATM a few times a month without being charged the tax? Thanks

Spain: moving to spain - finding expats:

HHMMMMMM! Cuenca is NOT quiet and calm in relation to Loja and the weather is NOT the same. Cuenca is cooler.
