Fiji: What type of housing to build in fiji?:

Hi all, I am looking into being very cheap land and building or importing living modules, and fitting them out. We know we will do most of our living out doors on decking under roof , so we are going to build according to how we live. We are looking for a good view, flat or flat building pad on hill, as long as we can grow food and enjoy the nature. Its not possible to retire in australia unless your rich. Price of living is insane. Community spirit is corrupted by too many restrictions on natural living in harmony with nature. We are really excited and are planning a long term strategy. We are both over 50yrs, and hope to take our super (if the Gov keeps its promises??) and settle over in fiji with the next few years permanently. My husband is a construction manager, so any info there would be great. We recently finishes a shipping container house and sold it to someone who set up in Fiji with it. Now we will do it again, but perhaps oder prefabbed ones from china. I am wondering if any one has build cob homes there too? thanks for any replays in advance, alvena
