Vietnam: Large size mens clothing??:
Hello All
I have been having difficulty finding XXL size clothes here in Saigon. Also problems finding any shoes size 44. Does anyone know of a supplier of larger sizes?
Vietnam: internet trouble:
Cable is supposedly going to be repaired by 7pm on 10 May.
Vietnam: internet trouble:
You are not alone! Internet cable between Vietnam and Hong Kong has been broken for about a week. Scheduled to be repaired fully on 10 May. This is I think the 3rd time it has been broken in the last 12 months, each break taking about 10 to 12 days to fix.
Most ISP companies in VN use this cable. Some have a backup plan which allows their clients to use the internet as per normal. Viettel have such a plan and their users have pretty much normal access and speed - my local internet cafe uses Viettel and I can get normal connect and speed through them. My home ISP is a company called SPT and they have not much in the way of backup plan so they are next to useless until the repair is completed.

Vietnam: Booking one way ticket to Vietnam on a tourist visa?:
Suggest you use Air Asia. No problem with a one way ticket with them!
Vietnam: Moving my family for a mini-retirement:
Get yourself a 2 year Temporary Residency card and save the hassle of renewing Visas.
Vietnam: Current situation on long visas for Vietnam:
A two year residency card will solve your problem!
Vietnam: Marriage Visa:
Apparently in my particular circumstances I can get a two year 'Residency Card'. Will that allow me to forget about Visa Renewal every 90 days?
