Belgium: Can a Brit stay longer than a year without work or Uni study?:
Hi,
Not sure about Antwerp but here in Brussels the situation is: so long as you have somewhere to live, and are registered with the local commune (ie have an ID card) and are paying the residence taxes (local taxes that cover services eg rubbish collection, police, street cleaning etc) then you're fine to stay as long as you like. You need to apply for a long-term residency permit and will need to prove financial independence (eg statement of savings or other income) if you don't have a job.
Hope this helps?

Estonia: new:
Hi,
I'm visiting Tallinn this weekend, for a conference on saturday. It'd be great to meet some people for a couple of beers on saturday night (28 Feb 04) and maybe learn something about the place!
