Panama: Mailing system in Panama from Miami?:

Does anyone use the mailing system such as Airbox Express from Miami? Does anyone import? I work from home importing, small business, and would like to continue it in Panama. I know import costs are high, but if anyone has any insight on any of it, I would love to hear. Also, I did hear one time that you are exempt from import taxes if you become a resident? Either way, would like to know the most easiest affordable way. Thank you for all of your advice.

Panama: Border jump:

Found this, "TOURIST VISA REQUIRED: Not required for stays under 180 days, but airlines charge an additional $5.00 as a tourist surcharge." Does this mean I only have to do the border jump ever 6 months? Many people and from what I have gathered, is always 3 months. Also, how does one apply for tourist visa? Is it easy to get? Thanks for all the input, just trying to make sure I understand everything.

Panama: Moving to Panama for only 1 year. Is residency needed for driving and other activities:

How do you apply for a tourist visa? If we were to just fly or drive to Panama, are we automatically granted one because I honestly thought either way, reentry was every 90 days for any non resident? Does anyone know the costs when driving to Panama what you need every time? Sorry to have chimed in with more questions, so trying to learn as much as I can before moving there. Thank you for all of your advice to by the way. I just keep getting mixed answers.

Panama: Internet question:

Hello! I work from home, and am interested in residing in Panama. I am wondering, on how taxes would work? I would like to sign up for Airbox express but I wasn't sure if that means I need to file in Florida then? Would love to know the easiest way to do this, and have been researching but getting mixed reviews. I am not sure if I would also need to pertain a work visa if I am working from home? I do want to look into the Friend of Panama visa so if anyone has any good recommendations for a lawter, I am more than happy to hear them. We are looking to rent in a rural area, and hopefully not have wireless wifi internet as I do a lot of skype calls as well. Thank you for reading and if anyone has any rentals or knows of any upcoming rentals, please feel free to email me NLVConsultants@gmail.com And thank you for reading! I enjoy reading through the thread and will continue to do so.
