We lived in Costa Rica from six years and now live in Panama. CR is the most expensive country to live in Central America. The Gov. taxes you to death and makes residency so complicated and expensive. You may want to so more research before moving there.

I beleive that this is a rumor but want to check it out to be sure. I heard that the rules have changed for updating your 6 month visa, in that you can no longer just make a border run but have to return to your country of origin! True or False
