Argentina: Legal considerations moving to Argentina:

We are seriously considering buying a finca in the Mendoza region. If we do, we will have to get some sort of citizenship (don´t want to have to cross the border every 3 months), pay taxes etc. We have contacted the Argentine Embassy etc in the UK but are struggling to find out what the procedure is for legally buying / owning land & residency. Can anyone help? We are in Argentina at present on holiday & have been advised to contact the Ministry of the Interior - where does one start? Thanks in advance for any help given!
