Kazakhstan: Why the humble potato is so appreciated in Kazakhstan?:

hi, last month was the first time I had ever visited that part of the world [Russia] I was in Atyrau . It did surprise me to see so many potatoes I think this is to do with their climate being so cold and also potatoes grow in abundance its a poor man food ex Russian what do you expect .It was a totally new experience for me I have travelled round the world but have spent most of my life in London UK. I would be going back to Kazakh later this month Sultana
