Uruguay: "Chemtrails":

Greetings, GMO's Chemtrail etc is exactly why I moved here. That and the radiation doesn't come down this far either..Uraguay is one of the safest places to be on the planet right now. UY does import some food from US. I just stay away from those brand names, Coke, Miller, Hellman's, catsup etc....Hurry get out of the States before Oct. this years....Good luck, if there is anything I can do to help. Shoot me a private email. Or look for me on FB (look for lions)...Peace and Blessings

Uruguay: Renting problem:

Greetings Maetrik, Listen renting an apartment is not going to be an easy task, here in UY. I have been trying to find a place since I got here 3 almost 4wks ago. One major problem is owners only want to have renters in the summer. I'm like, why do you have a for rent sign in the window? If you don't plan on renting now. Why would you want your apt. to sit vacant, if I want to rent the property? Then if you can get them to rent property they want a grantor and 3months rent as for a security deposit. This deposit doesn't have to be paided back either. I'm like ooh crap they forgot to mention this on Expact. So I am taking the liberty now. Don't say you were not warned. Peace and Blessing.

Uruguay: Renting in Uruguay:

I know of a newer apartment building in Piraopolis that has several apartments for rent. The building is right on the beach. The prices are much cheaper than in Punta Del Este. They will do a year round lease and they speak english. The apartment building is newer and gorgeous, right on the beach. Send me your email address and friend me here. I will send you a picture of building gorgeous... Peace and Blessings, -Char.

Uruguay: I need a one bedroom apt. to rent in Punta Del Este UY:

Does anyone know of a place to rent for under $500. per month. Staying in a Bed & Breakfast for now. I am a private person and need a place of my own. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Because I am alone I don't need much space. Just need my own space, please no stairs (have bad knees). If you know of a place please contact me at CharLyons@Hotmail.com....

Can't a lease life estate be established? Then when person dies the title can convert to fee simple ownership. Are ownership rights similiar to US?

Greetings, Morello is right as usual. How are you my friend? I finally got my new ticket to Montevideo June 24th. Will it still be freezing at the end of June? I got really ripped off on my ticket to UY. So I'm $ short. Guess I better start making stuff to sell, right now. Uruguay: Thinking of becoming an expat for first time:

I have a friend whom moved to UY from TX. He said construction work is hard to find. However he was working most of last week. I think one is better to start their own businesses in UY. The pay for labor type work is practically slavery wages. Hopethis information help, good luck. Peace N Blessings -Char.
