Argentina: Buenos Aires - Abasto:

Hi all, I am moving from London to Buenos Aires in 2 months. I have been using flipkey to find an apartment. I am looking for a central, safe and artistic area if possible. so far I have been offered a good deal in a place called Abasto, a block from the big shopping mall. it all looks good. can anyone advise if this is a suitable neighborhood for a 3 month stay? I am a single 35 yr old male, love eating out, theatre, coffee, and just walking around the city....
