Greece: english schools in corfu or crete???:
Hi Lia (my daughter's name and spelling!)
There are no full time English schools in Crete. In Chania there are English classes for bi-lingual, or native English speaking children just twice a week, 2 hours a time. In Heraklion I am sure there is something similar, but not a full time English school.

Greece: moving to crete:
Hi Wendi
For answers to your questions about moving to Crete see my website www.geocities.com/livingincrete
It has info about opportunities for employment, accommodation, schools etc.
On Crete however, there are no English schools, only Greek.
As for careers etc. they are pretty limited in Crete. Many Greek children go on to UK universities, and some stay in the UK, others follow careers by moving to Athens.
Support for English families? Financially, none at all. Otherwise emotional support from your future friends in Crete.
Carolina.
