Oman: Logistics involved in relocting to Oman:

My company is thinking of relocating to Oman. I am British and have lived in Dubai for 6 years. I am a single therefore will be moving alone. I was wondering whether there are any long term expats out there that can give me advice on the following questions which I may be able to base my decisions on What is the average rent you should pay for a 2 bedroom villa/ground floor flat? Do all properties come with a/c? What is the best area to live in? Is there much social life? I have 3 cats, can they relocate to Oman? Thanks, Tania
