Panama: Buying Cellphone on Visit to Panama:

Another option is to buy a new phone for use when in Panamá. Because our iPhone couldn't be used here we purchased an LG5 smartphone with a Panamá number, prepaid voice, and data for $135. Recharging has been easy.

Panama: Transporte Masivo De Panama - Mibus Fare:

I used the google map directions by bus option and the gave several TRANSPORTE MASIVO DE PANAMA - MiBus routes and it looked like the fare was .25. Is the correct only a quarter? How accurate are the routes and times on Google maps? Has anybody had experience planning trips in the city using Google Maps and clicking on the bus icon?

Panama: Apostille by the State where you are living right now.:

I just completed this step with documents from Alaska and Washington states. In both cased the Department of Vial Statistics was able to attach the apostille to birth certificates and marriage certificate for a fee.

Panama: Expat Advice:

one more piece of advice is to keep your freezer full. Fill empty space with water bottles. The ice will slow down the thaw if you are without power and will provide drinking water. If you need space for food just pull out the water bottles.
