Scotland: Moving to Aberdeen:

We moved from Philly to Glasgow, after many years of looking to do so. We have had a great experience, and mixed reaction from the locals! My advice to you is get into an area of the city that is local. The posh areas are filled with tourists, and when moving, you're no longer a tourist! Get used to answering the question, ''What made you move here?'' As it is asked by almost everyone we come across. Make your response clear and concise. Many Scots, surprisingly don't understand why one who could go anywhere in the world choose their we bit. Good Luck! R.Kornish

Hello, I am looking to move to Scotland with my husband and three year old from Pennsylvania. My husband is a computer programmer and I am hoping an employer will hire him so we can be in the UK within six months. Is this feasable? Any Americans who have moved to Scotland will be useful!
