Pakistan: Aussie Moving to Karachi:

I plan on moving to Karachi in April 2014... I am Australian born and bred, but I am of Pakistani decent... I was wondering if there were any other ladies out there in the same circumstance as myself?

Pakistan: WANTING TO MOVE TO PAKISTAN:

Ayeha, First of all, Insha Allah the 6 month stay for you is easy, enjoyable, and brings you closer to your creator! Karachi is an amazing, albeit, overwhelming city. I am born and bred Australian, but have married a Pakistani, who lives, and loves Karachi. When I first moved to Karachi, I packed everything I thought I would need. Including an abundance of medications, toiletries, and so on... only to find that EVERYTHING is available in Karachi! The only thing I would recommend that you pack is your bare necessities. The things you can't live without. The comfy go to pj's, a special book, anything that might bring you back to home when you feel homesick (I say when, because there is no doubt you will feel homesick!). It takes a while to adjust. It is such a different culture and environment, but I think you will love hearing the adhan recited 5 times a day from 100's of different mosques... the food... the clothes... the people... Good luck my friend!!
