El Salvador: Beachfront Property:

I'm curious if anyone has experience with or knowledge about beachfront properties in El Salvador. i.e. rental demand, tourist trends, best location, etc. I'm interested in purchasing property for my own use and as vacation rental. I've been looking in the Playa San Diego area and the beaches east of there. I like this area because of the solitude and proximity to both the airport and San Salvador/La Libertad. I don't necessarily want to be at the busier surfer beaches west of there. I visited this area and met some expats(Diane: Rancho Cajun and others). Any ideas?
