Honduras: Roatan Health Ins:

We are from the U.S. thinking of coming to Roatan. How can we meet other retirees our age to talk to? We are talking mid sixties for age or close to that.. We are retired military and need to know if the health providers will accept our insurance there and other questions... thanks

My hubby and I are considering spending the winter in Roatan to get to know the island and country and consider living there.. We are already retired. What direction should we go in talking to someone about renting a place and which area since we wont have a car with us? Are there rental cars there or how hard would it be to buy one and then resell when we leave if we dont want to keep it? Thanks, Pete and Jackie
