Costa Rica: Travel from Liberia Airport to Coco:

I will be arriving 4/12/2014 at Liberia Airport at 2:00 PM. It does not seem that there is a bus that goes to Playa del Coco and I am uncertain about the cost of a cab at 70.00 for 16 mile drive. Perhaps I just do not understand the high cost of taxi in CR. Moreover, I will be bouncing around to a few different hotels (to and from Playa del Coco area & Papagayo. Any help would be great! Thank you!

Nicaragua: Transportation from Liberia/Canton Nica:

Hi, I am excited for an upcoming trip to SJDS April 12, 2013, arriving around 2:30 pm at the Liberia/Canton Costa Rica air port. Would anyone have any suggestions on a good/reliable company or other means of transportation from Liberia/Canton air port to SJDS? I am also looking for a place to stay in SJDS and would like to know if anyone would recommend a place that is a few blocks walking distance to beach, restaurants etc., not too crazy loud. A one bedroom is all I need and while I have looked at some hotels, the reviews have not been great or differ very much. I am looking at hostels but uncertain if I would want to be in one for my three week visit. Any first hand recommendations would be great for both transportation and a place to stay. Thank you a ton!
