Peru: Chances a US ex felon could get residency:

Any thoughts or considerations on an ex felony record getting a permanent residency in Peru? It's always been my dream to visit and possibly stay as i'm desperate for a new life outside the US. If there are any loopholes or alternatives on how i could stay in country or perpetual tourist idea could it work?

Spain: American guy single looking at Spain:

Hey all, what are some options for a place to live in Spain the coast would be great but I would have a limited fixed income to live on until i can get residence. I also have a medical condition with my right knee now due to accident two years ago and a dry warm climate could work wonders. Any recommendations on affordable places i should look into?

Venezuela: Chances a US ex felon could get residency:

Any chances they would even let a ex felon enter the country or stay and apply for permanent residence? What loopholes or alternative options would there be for someone who just wants out of the US.?

Australia: Chances a US ex felon could get residency:

I understand the need for immigration laws and restrictions but what chances or options would a ex felon have for living in Australia? It's been over 14 years and things are ok now but I'm afraid it could bar me from gaining permanent residence. I may not have issues just to come on vacation but what are your thoughts? How could I get through this mess as I no longer wanna be American.

Mexico: Chances a US ex felon could get residency:

Was wondering what options and chances an ex felon could somehow get residence in Mexico? If a no go are there alternatives to staying permanently under the radar or loop holes?

Colombia: US felon expat seeking info:

Can a US felon get permanent residence in Colombia at all? Any loopholes or work arounds to staying permanently? Just want a new life and the US has effectively destroyed any hope of having one here in the states. What felonys are especially turned away or looked over?

Nicaragua: Can US felon get Visa/Permanent residence:

I had a felony from over 10 years ago but was wondering if it would cause issues in gaining residency in NIca? Does it depend on the offense or any criminal past is a definite no go in Nicaragua? Is it something the right officials would look over or what other options are there to stay permanently. I just want a new life outside the US and is my intention to be completely honorable and law abiding. Everyone deserves the right to a second chance I just want to live in peace and harmony with my fellow man. Thoughts and advice?

Nicaragua: Looking to make friends/Pen pals:

Well I'm making the move to Nica within a year at most. Still waiting on some things to finalize here that's going to determine whether or not I'll be able to leave soon. Would enjoy making friends with Expats or locals as I transition into my new life so would be helpful to get tips prior to leaving. I'm still working on my Spanish for now and hoping to be fluent enough before I arrive. I had a semester at University but it's been so long since i've used it's mostly forgotten. So anyone who wants to write or chat my email is expatguynica@hotmail.com . Would love to see pics of the country. Thanks all saludes

Nicaragua: Expatriating to Nica asap need contacts:

Hi all im a 37 year old American looking to move and was wondering if developing contacts with other expats is best method or just hire an immigration attorney to help me? If they can be trustworthy that is I've read stories on here about a few issues some have had. I'm disillusioned with the US now and my reasons are more political than anything but i also have medical issue with my knee and feel a warmer climate would benefit me greatly. Would love to be in contact and make new friends there as i make the transition into a new life so any assistance would be appreciated. Thoughts on gaining permanent residence too. Thanks guys/gals.
