Mexico: Texas Influence in San Miguel:

I recently read that San Miguel has a disproportionate number of Texans and as such the expat community is heavily influenced by their presence. Is there any truth to this?

Germany: RV rental Spring 2015:

We are planning on renting an RV next Spring for several months. Is Germany still the best starting point? Can anyone suggest rental agencies with which they have worked?

Mexico: La Floresta Fences / Gates:

I have recently read that lower La Floresta is now fenced in with locked gates and only one point of entry. Posters have said that this eliminates the ability to walk into Ajijic via Camino Real or along the waterfront. Since I am not there I was wondering what others have experienced or observed.
