Spain: General information:
Just wondering if you have travelled very much before? You can research so much on the internet. For example look at booking.com or Airbnb for your accommodation costs. You might like a bed in a dorm or your own apartment and of course the prices range. Usually if you book something for a longer period you can get better value. Buses, trains and car hire prices are also on the internet. Also check Numbeo.com for comparisons between cities. But of course to live on between 50 and 75US $ can be done. People live on less. Some people earn only $1000 euro a month and they get by. Hope that helps you.

Hola
Can anyone recommend a driving school that has English speakers and I can get my licence on an automatic transmission? I'm willing to come to any city.
I have an Australian drivers licence. Have driven automatic for 20 years and will buy auto. I have lived in Spain nearly a year but my Spanish isn't up to doing the test in Spanish. Appreciate all advice...PM me...cheers

Spain: Australian Driving licence:
Hola.
Does anyone know how long I can drive in Spain with an Australian Drivers licence? Also is it possible to get a Spanish drivers licence and if so how do I go about it? I also have a British passport. At the moment my Spanish is fairly limited, only been here for three months now, and so makes it difficult to get answers. Thank you
Spain: Galicia or Asturias flat to rent:
Hi everyone.
I am an Australian woman and I have been teaching English in Turkey for 4 years. I would now like to move to Spain, with a preference for Galicia or Asturias. Somewhere not too far from the coast would be great. If anyone has a furnished apartment, maybe granny flat..not too expensive....or maybe a house sitting opportunity........i would love to hear from you? Thank you
Spain: buying property in cadiz province:
I opened a bank account with EVO Bank. It was an easy procedure. No fees. I imagine they have branches all over Spain. My bank in a small city in north Spain has 3 staff members that speak English so you could be lucky.
