France: Requirements for pets:
Hello,
I am coming to France for school on September 24. I am bringing my dog with me. However, I am confused about the requirements to bring her over. She has had her rabies shot and has been microchipped. It was my understanding that the rabies titration test was not required for the U.S. However, now the consulate's website states that after Oct. 1, the test will not be required.
Has anyone recently brought pets from the U.S. to France? Do you know if they are allowing people to use the newest health certificate? If not, I will have to have my dog shipped, which I am not wanting to do.
Has anyone had their animal shipped separately? Did you have a decent experience?
Thank you for any help you can give!
Marissa

Hi Emma,

France: Moving for school and need help!:
Hey, all! I am entering the Sorbonne in the fall, and am trying to make all of my preparations for moving abroad. I am trying to figure out how to finance my education while there. I am going through the Paris Univeristy system, and not through an American university, so I do not qualify for U.S. financial aid. Of course, French education is pretty much financed by the French government, but I am still going to have to pay for living expenses for the next year, with the right to work only 20 hours a week. I am trying to check into every conceivable option, but I am wondering: do any of you know of any outlets either in France or in the U.S. that I can pursue getting some funds for my living expenses while pursuing my education in France? I am willing to work extra jobs, get loans, grants, anything that may be helpful. Thank you for any advice you can give!
