Cyprus: schooling question:

We are a family(2adults1child) looking to move to Cyprus. We have cypriot family already out there so we should be able to get information about housing/legalities etc. There is however one question that is one our minds that we feel that only ex pats can halp us with. What is best,private english speaking or greek state schools? Also what system is used ie 'A' levels or more european type qualifications? I know that it might be premature as my son is only 7 but this move will be for keeps and I want it right before we move. I would be grateful for any recommendations or information.
