Nicaragua: Any business owners?:

Hey im a freelance journalist based out of california. I will be spending 5 weeks in july and august in Nica and am looking for some story ideas to pitch my editor. I'd like to do a feature on expats in Nica who have opened businesses or are involved in the community in some way? Anybody out there fit that description or know of someone who does?

Nicaragua: Any Californians in Nica?:

I am wondering if any of you have moved from california to nica. I'm looking for some advice on how the two compare in terms of culture, safety and weather. I'm aware of the obvious differences but am more interested in the more subtle things that might not be so apparent.
