Brazil: Where do you live?:
@Florida guy ... Nice to read your comments about Brazil. I am in confusion if you are Brazilian or US citizen as you know perfectly Brazil from my point of view. I have had the experiences similar to yours about Brazil. Well, in South Brazil I may say that the Brazilians are the same as you did mention here but not so much ARROGANT when about stupidty so it is at a extreme point. I may say this as ignorancy -arrogancy cannot be matched or I may be wrong. To live in Brazil one must bring with himself a lot of money and must be aware of cheat-fraud-bandit of Brazil. I will say Brazil is not so bad but the Brazilian reality is very hard and some times it turns into a misery. The people should not take the Brazilian immigration option seriously. I do agree with you that Brazil has the qualified people to run the country but most of them are always in some point a bit stupid and terribly ignorant.
Brazil: Also moving to floripa with my wife from ipatinga:
Thanks a lot for this article about Brazil. I was in Porto Alegre and I have some experiences too. I think this country named Brazil is just a joke. My Brazilian friends used to tell me that the Brazilian elites have founded this country for their consumation only. The others have no chances there. It is almost impossible for a full life in Brazil for a foreigner. The maximum of Brazilain people are living below poverty level and the people are on average DISHONEST. The living cost is very high in compare to the average earnings and so it is unafordable. The people are never transparent in any aspect of daily life. Normally the illusive foreign people are ended up in misery.Brazil is a hard reality and difficult nut to eat.
Brazil: Retiral Visa:
From my experiences in Brazil so I will say please do not go there as a first choice. I would like to repeat my request. It is really a terrible place to live in for long time duration. It is expensive and the things are not available around you as well as the security situation is really terrible.Wake up please!
Brazil: Moving to Brazil:
It takes time to get answer from their foreign secretary office in Brasilia. So it needs to wait a bit as I heard .
Brazil: symbolica:
I do agree with you simbolica. Besides this it will be difficult to get a job for a Nigerian guy and then do best with a family in Brazil when living cost is far superior than the salary. It is always interesting for a foreigner in Brazil like the Lebanese people are doing is to run a business while it will need to bring money from the country of origin.Anyway GOOD LUCK.
Brazil: Black male interested in moving to brazil:
From my experiences for a black man Brazil will be a big challange. The racism does exist in each and every part of Brazil specially in the southern Brazil. The reality is that Brazil is totally controlled by the white European origin people and the mentality, level of education, cultural values etc etc are not equivalent with that of European standard. I have no idea about North America as I was never there. But I will be open from my experiences in Brazil that African origin people will face sufferings for their racial identity. So if you wish you can take this challange . Besides this Brazilian immigration law is much more complicated than the European and as I can imagine only option is open to get married or seeking political asylum and then to have a good life it needs to bring money from own resources to do some business activities. I am afraid there is no other choices there.
Brazil: African Americans in Brazil:
Hello to all,
I am not African American , I am also not European. But I was in Brazil and was living there for a time being. I can speak Brazilian language . To me Brazil is a miserable RACIST country. They discriminate people in each and every angle like color, economical status, religion etc etc etc. The fact is Brazil was founded for the consumation of 21 families by the Portuguese King and nothing has changed since then. The country is based on DISCRIMINATION. The people are friendly but also stupid. It is very difficult to get anything from Brazil except some easy going women. They DISCRIMINATE the Black people miserably.I have had many Brazilian white friends and I used to be with them , speaking them with their language. I saw that they extremely DISLIKE the Black people . I guess nothing has changed yet.
Brazil: Does marrying a Brazilian give me Brazilian citizenship?:
Though I am not Brazilian but I was living in Brazil before.Yes , if you are married with a Brazilian so each and every problem of citizenship will be resolved over night. In this case the Brazilian law is the most flexible in this world. There will be no restrictio to travel according to your need. About the dual citizenship it depends on the agreement between Brazil and that 3 rd country. Normally dual citizinship is allowd in Brazil.
