You have the same property rights as costa ricans.I wouldn't give up your american citizenhip. I would come ,stay 3 months take a weekend in panama and do another 3 monts.as long as you leave the country you can keep doing this forever.their system for becoming a costa rican citizen is as convoluted as ours .why do you think we have the illegal problem we have in america ?

Just go to Mexico learn spanish and then walk across the USA border and you will get everything for free.housing, health care food stamps EVERY THING.work for cash and send it to a fictitious family's bank account and bingo .then you can go to costa rica for 3 months at a clip and live like a king.go to panama for a quick one day trip and do another three months.

I have been to CR over a dozen times.i don't dress like a wealthy person, flash big (US) bills and go to shady back alley places. i have never had a bad experience in C R. Maybe being a sixth degree black belt has given me wisdom superior to the average person. H.D.
