Costa Rica: Road Maintenance Help:

During the last heavy rain, there was a landslide in our community which affected part of the road to our property. We are looking into moving the road or stabilizing it somehow. Any recommendations of who to talk with to get this done? I'd like to get a few quotes/ideas from professionals. We live just past Lagunas off the 243 (Dominical area). Thank you!

Costa Rica: Water Locator/Driller Referral:

We are looking into putting a spring water pump on our property (single family home without contruction yet) and are looking for referrals for water locators and well drillers/contractors. We are just past Lagunas in the Playa Dominical area. Anyone you recommend?? Thank you for your help!

Costa Rica: Alcohol:

I'm curious about everyones thoughts on were to get cheaper beer or quality wine. It seems like beer is pretty expensive in Costa Rica, even the cheap stuff. I've noticed the prices at the liquor stores are about the same as in a restaurant. Are there any breweries in Costa Rica? Are there any wineries? Where is the best place to bulk shop in San Jose?

Costa Rica: Things to Do around Dominical:

We are staying in Dominical for 10 days. We have a 1 yr old and a 3 yr old. Any suggestion of things to do while visiting CR? Its ok if its within 3hrs drive of Dominical :)

Does anybody know which area has the strongest and most consistent lightning storms in Central and Southern Pacific coasts of Costa Rica?

Costa Rica: Places to stay:

We are coming to CR in 2.5 weeks and we were just informed that we can no longer stay at the place we reserved. We are scrambling to figure out where to stay now. We want to be in Dominical or anywhere south of Dominical. Willing to travel during our 10 days there so we can check out some different areas. We have 2 young kids and don't want to stay in hostels or any place of hostel quality. Please recommend places for us to check out! Thank you for your help!!
