Estonia: Jobs with Hilton call centre:

Hilton Reservations Worldwide are expanding in Tallinn. If you are interested in working there call Signe Toom at 372 680 1100. They are hiring english-speaking and looking for people who speak one other western European language. Good luck!

Estonia: Possible Meet in Tallinn:

Absolutely... just post the date and time! I am a Canadian who has been in Tallinn since this July. I moved here from Switzerland.

Switzerland: Basel....:

Dear Katharina, I just moved from Basel to Estonia in the past week... but best bet (assuming you dont speak a lot of Swiss-German) is to head for Paddy Reilley's or my fave Pickwicks. At Peewees tell Chris at the bar that I sent you. Those are the two pubs were most of the english-speaking expats hang out (lots of swiss and others too). Viel Glück! (good luck) L

Canada: Help! Canadian trapped in an American body!:

Just go for it! Take an extented vacation to Canada --- meet up with producers and film-makers in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal ... something will fall in place. It is very very hard to hook up over internet, as this is really a people business. You can also try the National Film Board in Montreal. Bonne chance! Canadian abroad

Estonia: Stepping blindly into Estonia:

Dear beesum, I just arrived here myself... but city24.ee is a good source of apartments... and best of luck in Tallinn. L

Canada: where do i relocate to?:

Dear Diane, Although the others are right about BC and Vancouver... your best bet for prison psych jobs would probably be Kingston, Ontario -- which has several facilities, and is also a college town, very pretty in the summer, colder winters. Good luck, Louisa Canadian living in Estonia

Estonia: Moving to Estonia:

Dear E, I have only just moved to Tallinn myself a week ago. No idea about the bike, but you might want to try a local biker club in Tallinn? They are usually quite friendly with such questions. Any recommendations with getting up to speed in Estonian? I am a total beginner, but need to find work soon. I freelance in meeting planning and product marketing. I think both your professions would be relatively easy to find work in Estonia. You prob have found something by now -- given your post was about 6 months ago! Louisa

Estonia: Thinking of moving to Estonia:

Dear planet, that was most useful. Thanks! I would love to meet up with you, as I am new to Tallinn and still finding my way around. L
