I have lived in Greece for almost 10 years. In that time I have seen a number of people cam and go.If they go. It seems to take two years for people to pack their bags and leave. So I recommend you rent for a year and find where you really want to live. The only issue we have found is the lack of social care in the health service. You are reliant on friends & family or paying for a nurse if a stay in hospital is needed. The health service is very good. But, if you don't have a good support network or money, then health insurance is a must.
