Hello Coolbeans58 My wife and I live here in Roatan we live in Sandy Bay it's a nice community a lot of gringos but yet a mix also of islanders. My suggestion to you is to come on down and rent a place before buying, that way you can experinace the different areas. There are a lot of properties for sale but it depends on your budget. I also suggest you talk to people and get to know the island before you decide who to work with. Keep in mind everyone has a guy lol...... If I can be of any help let me know ??
