Morocco: I really need a break!:
HEY EVERYONE!
Due to an imminant divorce, I really want to "do something different" and "move on south" !!!
I was hoping someone could give me an idea how I might do if I chose Marrakesh? I LOVE the place, and would like to live there, I would have enough money to survive for a few months while finding my feet (rent a flat, find a job, figure out the papers etc) But how hard IS IT REALLY? I am a designer, both regylar and in web/multimedia, which I wonder MIGHT(???) be a growth industry in Morrocco right now???
SO how do you think I will do?
cheers
Mark
Norway: Question about work !:
You did not mention your work area... so I cant really comment, but one thing, the language barrier is NOT a problem. I even worked in a bar upon arrival in Oslo, and no one thought it strange when I asked if they could speak English.. now 7 years later I still dont speak Norwegian well, and only now do people comment "should'nt you learn?" Of course understanding forms and adverts in relatuion to getting a job can be tricky, but there is a FREE course to learn for foriegners that you can take upon arrival, at a school called Rosenhoff.. GOod luck!
