Chile: pros and cons of living in Valparaiso:
I'll be spending 3 months in Chile, July-Sept 2017. I want to be close to the sea so am thinking Valparaiso or Vina. Any suggestions for a solo female traveler with a somewhat limited income?
Dominica: Dancing in Dominica:
Does anyone know where there is dancing; salsa, swing, tango? Are there any studios to learn or venues with music where people go to dance?
Dominica: Jan-March Resident:
Hi all,
I'm a retired nomad who will be living on the island Jan-March. I have an apt arranged and am looking now for an inexpensive vehicle rental and volunteer opportunities. I'll be living just outside of Roseau. Any information would be much appreciated. I'm also a dancer (salsa, ballroom, swing) so will be looking for dance venues & lessons. It's a great way to meet new people too which I'm really looking forward to.
Grenada: dancing:
Hi, thanks. This is a new one I had not heard of. I'll check to see where it is. I did find the salsa lesson at True Blue on Thurs's. I found dancing to live music at Prickly Bay Marina on Fri. Umbrellas had the same band on Sun night. They're a fun mix of music & very upbeat. I also just found out about Junction Bar having a free salsa lesson & dancing Wed nights. So I'll be there tonight!
Grenada: apt and car rental resources:
I received a private msg about the car rental but was unable to return the msg because the system is not allowing it. If the person who sent me the msg today (2/1) sees this post, please email me directly at lobue.ma@gmail.com so I can reply.
