Angola: Work in tianjin:
I spent two years in Tianjin working for a joint venture company manufacturing submergible pump and motors. Due to the chineeses being so far in debt the company could not make a go of it just depending on us to sell. i have since then have been trying to get back there for work. i found out I really enjoyes it there and left a lot of good friends behind. I was very lucky for my friends all were high up in the city goverment or security department. I got to see a lot of China very few other have gotten to see by being the main man in a old fashion country weeding and making the front page of the second largest news paper in China for helping out passing out papers. I became an employee for the paper to write a few articles now and then. My back ground is in Management and Quality Assurance. I overseen a factory with over 900 employees and assisted the CEO in many task involved in assembly, ordering material and inventory. I was also resbonsible for all equipment meeting western standards before being able to leave China.
If any one know of any employment please let me know.
Thank You, Donald Gourley
China: looking online for residential property to lease:
I lived in tianjin for two years 2000 to 2002 and there are a couple web sites but I will have to e-mail my friends there to fing them for you. The only place I can remember was the teddy. There use to be a web for us called tianjin teleghram but I do not know if it still being used since motorloa moved out. I stayed at the TIB Tianjin International building. Center of town and that is where motorola had there people stay untill housing was found. I know there are schools at the teddy. Not far from the TIB I liked it there for every thing was furnished from maid to any type of cooking utilities etc that i needed. The price was high even after dealing with them. My one beedroom apt was 1500 a month.
I will find out a web asap for you. may get in touch with me by djgourley685@man.com.
China: Moving to Tianjin:
I live in Tiajin from 2000 to 2002 and in hopes of getting back if I can find work. The Towers is good I stayed at the TIB Tianjin International Building which I prefered over the Towers. Middle of town with everything you need in the building and close buy. They had better services. maid every day and if I needed any thing from kitchen to beding I recieved it the day i requested with no charge. The management was so good to me.

China: TianJin:
I lived in Tianjin from 2000 to 2002 and I want to go back. I have an American friend who still lives there and a lot of Chinees friends.
You do not have to worry about a thing. I was more safer there than you are in the states.
I found out now that living is a lot cheaper now than i was there. I lived in the Tianjin International Building. I was going to move out but it was so much eaiser just to pay them than trying to go get money excahnged and run around payinf for utilities. There I had full room service and if i needed any thing for cooking etc it was delivered the same day I requested it with no charge.
Every thing is chaeap. You just have to argue with them on the price when buying I usually used the formula what ever they asked I would offer them 1/4 of that. 99 per cent of the time I got it. It was fun. Culture street is the most popular for things. There is also what we called walking street that is just like shopping in New York. Very modern. The best is in Bejing at Silk row. By the American embency. I loved shopping there.
Like I said I want to go back if I can find a job there. I tell evey one I was born in the right country I just live in the wrong one.
Please fell free to get in touch with me if you need more info.
